About Us

Little Ladies and Lace was born in the summer of 1997 as a project for my Senior year of home school. It was a course in which I learned the fundamentals of business and the development of a product. Since I loved to sew and had collected dolls from early childhood, selling my own doll dress designs seemed a logical choice for this business. By the summer of 1998 with a house full of dolls, clothing, accessories and a stream of loyal customers, it was evident that my business had outgrown its home run status. I took a leap of faith into the real business world and opened my shop. With Mom as my partner, a new business was born.

Over the years there have been many changes in our little shop. We have increased our offerings of fabrics and downsized our doll department while keeping a large selection of clothing for 18" and 15" dolls along with matching outfits for girls. Recently we have added "An Angels Kiss Baby Diaper Boutique". As you enter the shop you will find an array of baby items along with our featured Chloe Toes fitted pocket diapers. These soft and sweet diapers, made in the USA, offer a greener way to diaper you baby while protecting them from the harsh chemicals in disposables and also protect the planet for their future.
